Children's Clothing Sale
Community members sell children’s clothing on consignment. Clothing receives a new life and stays out of the landfill. With the approval of council, the committee selects a project to receive the revenue.

Children’s Community Choir - Sunset KidsSing
For children in our neighbourhood or beyond who want to learn to sing. The music is not specific to the Christian tradition. Practices are held Wednesdays at 6:30. Two or three times yearly the children sing at a worship service or another event.

Refugee Committee
Harmony United Church recognized the deep Biblical tradition of welcoming strangers and a part of this is in the welcome of refugees.  We have several sponsorships underway and if you’d like to know how you might participate in the holy work, let us know!  Because of the very high demand and the limits of our capacity, we are not accepting new sponsorships at this time.
This committee assists with applications for refugees wanting to come to Canada. Arranges practical details like housing furniture, accompany to appointments, learning English, supporting while adjusting to local customs and practices. Fundraising as needed.

Sunday School
Tells a story based on the day’s theme for children at each Sunday service. Supervises children during the service with games, crafts and stories.

Worship Support Team
Each month a different group of volunteers assists in the worship: welcoming, reading scripture, making/serving/cleaning up for coffee time, reading a message about a Mission and Service project, counting attendance.

Worship Committee
Meets regularly with the minister to plan for worship, changes banners / flowers / decorations in the sanctuary as needed, consults on policy development on such areas as baptism, funerals, and weddings. Consults with the choir.
